Project Overview

We designed and built a practical product-focused website for Chisolux Energy Limited, an Owerri-based supplier of solar and electrical products. The website helps customers explore solar products by category, view detailed specifications, and send direct enquiries through WhatsApp, email and social channels.

The site was created to make product discovery simple. Customers can browse the product collection, open individual product pages, compare key details, and request guidance or quotations without going through a full online checkout process.

Background

Chisolux Energy Limited supplies solar and electrical products for homes, farms, shops, business premises and outdoor spaces. The business needed a stronger online presence that could present its product range clearly and support customer enquiries from across Nigeria.

Before the website, product information was mostly dependent on direct conversations, images and manually shared details. This made it harder for customers to browse available options independently or understand which product might suit their use case before contacting the business.

The new website gives Chisolux Energy a structured digital catalogue that presents the business professionally and supports enquiry-led selling.

Challenge

The main challenge was to organise a wide product range into a simple customer journey. The website needed to handle product images, product categories, specifications, variations and enquiry options without making the experience feel complicated.

Chisolux Energy also chose not to enable direct online ordering at this stage. This meant the website had to guide customers towards conversation-based enquiries instead of a shopping basket. The enquiry process needed to feel natural, fast and useful for people who may want pricing, availability, product advice or bulk order guidance.

The website also needed to be easy for the business to manage after launch. New products, updated details, images and page content had to be editable through a user-friendly content management system.

Solution

The website was planned around how customers are likely to ask about solar products. Instead of forcing every visitor into a checkout flow, the structure supports browsing, guidance and direct enquiry.

The homepage gives a quick introduction to the business and product categories. The product collection page allows customers to explore the full catalogue. Each product page gives enough detail to help customers understand the item before making contact.

The enquiry journey was kept simple. Customers can choose WhatsApp for quick conversations or email for formal quotations and product lists. The contact page also includes an enquiry form that collects useful information such as name, phone number, topic, product interest and message, making it easier for the Chisolux team to respond properly.

The content editor was also set up to make ongoing updates straightforward. Chisolux Energy can manage product details, upload images, update specifications and adjust page content as the business grows.
